May and August are our quietest months of trade both in sales and rental. These are the two months of the calendar year that don’t have a school holiday period or long weekend. The following sales occurred: 3 in Lorne, 3 in Sep/Wye and 2 in Forrest, so activity took place but at a much more relaxed pace.

Please be aware that some sensational listings remain for sale and not all are actively marketed. For those buyers that are seriously considering a coastal property purchase, why not buy one in a less frantic, competitive buying environment!

For the previous 30 years of trade this company has completed, the spring/summer months always signals an increase in buying activity, I will guarantee this year will be the same!

A massive weekend for our local precinct with the iconic Great Ocean Road Real Estate Marathon on both Saturday and Sunday. An unbelievable concept really – closing the world class drive of 45km for pedestrian traffic for approximately 8 hours. Other events will be a 6km, 14km and ½ marathon events.

Lauren Nicholls and Bec Allen from our Apollo branch and Lucie Coutts from our Lorne branch will participate in the ½ marathon (Kennett River to Apollo Bay). Good luck Bec, Lauren and Lucie – very well coached and prepared!

By the way, traffic flow is unaffected until 7:30am Sunday morning (and only from Lorne to Apollo Bay). We are proud to sponsor such a prestigious event.
