Merry Christmas 2011 from Lorne Real Estate
‘Lorne Real Estate – Market Round up’. The town of Lorne has started to fill earlier than normal with the caravan parks and the main street bustling at a time that is traditionally dormant. Visitors are descending on us to enjoy Christmas in Lorne and beat the Boxing Day rush which is a great early indicator as to how the summer holidays will pan out. The town has never looked better with the late rains having our foreshore area green and lush and the finishing touches being applied to the Lorne Sea Bath in completion to the makeover of the pool precinct.
The final pre-Christmas delivery today of a range of ‘For Sale’ boards will signify the final list of what is arguably the best offering of Summer stock in the last 10 years. Christmas wishes to you all and see you in Lorne.
‘Lorne – Weekly Property report’. Our real estate office has been a hub of excitement, workload, tension and expectation as all team members across all our departments commit above and beyond to ensure that everything is in place for what is the bustiest month of our year.
To all those in the Lorne office, I say a big thank you, hope you have a fantastic Christmas, eat well, drink well, stay safe and laugh a lot – Thank you.

‘Lorne – You must have a look at this’. Recently I had the pleasure to view one of Lorne’s most stunning coastal architectural creations. Ocean House created by a passionate Lorne identity and architect extraordinaire Rob Mills. Seldom do you experience a home that captures the natural harmony of the unique coastal setting that Rob meticulously acquired. Words do not do the property justice; the home is a unique creation and one that must be seen to be experienced.

The exclusive property is part of the luxury portfolio managed by Matthew Neill in our accommodation department. I invite you to visit www.oceanhouse.com.au or speak with Matthew and come and treat yourself to the pleasures that await.
‘Lorne – A little secret’. Well it was “weigh in” down at the gym! I left my 12 select bottles of wine on the counter not having achieved the target I had set myself but comfortable that I am continuing to move in the right direction after a number of changes. My target was 12 kilos, I lost 6 but my commitment is to continue – stay tuned!

‘Lorne – Quote of the week’.
