Holiday in Bali or Lorne?
Spectacular waves over the past week on the Victorian Surf Coast from Torquay to Lorne to Warrnambool have entertained onlookers and indeed wetsuit clad surfers. The biggest swell for 12 months!
Lorne has been busy on the accommodation front with our bookings up 35% on the 2010 June/July holiday break. It seems Melbournians have by-passed the northern states and either stayed local or travelled to the guaranteed perfect weather of our closest neighbor – Bali.

This morning we opened our doors to pedestrian traffic along Mountjoy Parade Lorne to join us for a “cup of tea” and some lovely homemade treats prepared by our staff. We were raising funds for The Cancer Council and thank you to the generous local donations. Apparently Nicole’s raspberries brownies were voted most popular dish!

On the real estate front we have had three sales this week in Lorne – 23 Deans Marsh Road, 73 Charles Street and Apartment 13 Chalet which all sold at strong prices. A great start to June!
