It follows, and probably not surprising that 42% of the Shires employment is involved in accommodation, food, retail trade and construction.

Over the next couple of weeks I want to share with you some statistical information about the Lorne Township and the Surf Coast Shire within which we are positioned. The Surfcoast Shire, which includes the townships of Aireys Inlet, Anglesea, Deans Marsh, Fairhaven, Jan Juc, Lorne, Moriac, Torquay and Winchelsea.
