Lorne – Market Round Up
Real Estate markets are such an interesting phenomenon that trying to forecast the outcomes can be such a frustrating process when all positive indicators don’t deliver the immediate results that one would expect, although you can “feel it coming”. Our coastal market is no different, which we are so positive and optimistic that this year will be better than last.
Enquiry levels through the past week have been fantastic and we are only now starting to see transactions being written. As we enter the second half of historically our biggest month of twelve, we are confident the volumes of property transactions will follow the same trend as our enquiry numbers.
Interesting to note that over at our Aireys Inlet office there has been the amazing number of nine transactions month to date, which is way ahead of predictions and forecasts.


Lorne – Weekly Report
Now that we are over the pier to pub swim weekend and in the process of dealing with a surge of real estate enquiry we are looking forward to the coming months. Numbers in town have been good but the weather for the past seven days has kept many day trippers away, but the forecast is for sunshine ahead.
The sale of the week was the residence at 3/68 Smith Street which although having been on the market for an extended period of time, changed hands for a price within 5% of the “ask”.
