Results reported last weekend in Melbourne were again really positive with a clearance rate of 74% from 843 Auctions. This is 15% higher than the same time 12 months ago. The flow on for the coast is more buyers in the market in a position to afford lifestyle properties or better still making the move permanently. We have this sold properties to people that have experienced the recent increased energy in the Melbourne property market and have acknowledged that now is a great time to be making the commitment to their lifestyle asset.

Lorne Market Update

Without doubt one of the busiest weeks of the past couple of months with four contracted transactions over the past seven days. Two apartments side by side in Mirvac’s Chalet complex were contracted at almost asking prices and continues to reinforce just how popular this quality development continues to be. The two other sales were the homes at 24 Normanby Terrace and 6 Polwarth Road Lorne, which reinforced that buyers are returning to the market and making decisions when they recognize that a property represent value.
