LORNE – HERE AND THERE

Lorne has begun to come to life like the “sleeping giant of the coast”. Regional Victorian visitors have started to descend on Lorne as school holidays are underway, while others “kick the shackles” and just want to get away. Mountjoy Parade has come to life again and in a big way. A new seafood premises Captain Hooked, at the former Arab and the unveiling of the super transformation that is the new Ghanda store. This eye catching major make over has set a new standard for Mountjoy Parade and looks superb in daylight hours and under light at night. We also see the new Indian Restaurant about to open in the former “Maple Tree” site and all of a sudden with a couple of other new franchises in Mountjoy Parade, the streetscape will be as full and looking as good as it ever has. Can’t wait for you all to be able to experience it!

LORNE – MARKET ROUND UP

The rolling COVID daily Victorian average continues its spiralling downward trend, igniting further strength into the Lorne property market. Through the past week, we have concluded six transactions as stock levels become critically low.

It continues to become evident that this pandemic had a major play on the minds of people as they plan their future. Never have we seen the strength of demand that we are currently experiencing through a time when under normal circumstance, everyone would have been fully engrossed in the AFL finals series preparing for what would have been tomorrows Grand Final – Ah how things have changed!

LORNE – A LITTLE SECRET

Great to see Lorne’s latest addition to food in Mountjoy Parade being Captain Hooked (formerly the Arab) now open for business. Good luck to Lior and his team.

LORNE – QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“Weak people revenge, strong people forgive, intelligent people ignore”.

YOU MUST HAVE A LOOK AT THIS

If you’re in the search for a Lorne home, make certain you have your details registered with your chosen agent as there is a lot going on behind the scenes as potential sellers prepare for the upcoming summer selling season.
