LORNE – HERE AND THERE

Last weekend Melbourne Cup long weekend saw the first influx of visitors to the coast in numbers that was a warm reminder to what can be expected in the coming months. Speaking with one of our leading restauranteurs last evening, this “staged” influx of visitors was working well with the abundance of regional visitors heading out for the first time and filling establishments, albeit with less numbers of seats available due to the social distancing requirements. At the same time the regulated population flow was also providing the opportunity for operators to fine tune their systems and retrain their teams around the COVID 19 guidelines.

Rest assured that with another “doughnut day” of corona virus for Victoria, that come next week when the “ring of steel” comes down, there will be a flood of visitors to the coast and we are all looking forward to welcoming them with open arms and work practices to look after all.

LORNE – MARKET ROUND UP

It is building as one of the most anticipated periods of recent times when the Melbourne and metropolitan area are set to come out of grid lock. With the “ring of steel” being broken down and all of Melbourne looking to “break free”. The regional areas of Victoria are bracing for a strong influx of visitors and property seekers looking to start the next chapter of their life away from “the big smoke” and the population densities.
It is going to be a real test for our regional property markets and all forecast is that demand is set to sky rocket against limited supply, which is almost certainly going to underpin increasing prices over the coming months. In markets like this, those sellers that can gain greatest exposure to the widest, largest numbers of buyers, are going to be big winners.
Here at our Lorne office our entire sales team earn off each other in a pooled team commission environment, that guarantees that no stone is unturned in ensuring all clients of all team members are combined with new buyer interest with the goal to creating competition in the market place. Speak to anyone of us to explore how we can add value to the sale process.

Kind regards,
