On Wednesday, The Today Show broadcast live from the Swing Bridge Café at the mouth of the Erskine River as our town was beamed to all parts of Australia. With entertainment from Missy Higgins and all the stars of the show in attendance it was a knockout promotional experience for our town and region alike.
Just when you think things can’t get much bigger, we have the official launch of the Lorne Sculpture Biennale on Saturday by one of our very own special non-resident property owners, Her Excellency Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria who, along with the Honorable Mitch Fifield, Federal Minister for the Arts, will officially open the event at 11am on Saturday at Mantra, and everyone is invited to attend.
