Our Backyard

History has proven that the back half of January has continually produced stronger selling numbers than the first and this trend looks likely in continuing this year and the past few days has seen the market lifting in momentum. With four contracted transactions across the past seven days and a number of negotiations commencing, the market is warming.

The stand out for the week was the sale of 13 Anderson Street, Lorne for in excess of $1.5 million. The older style comfortable holiday home enjoyed a great location and multiple interest reinforced its short period on the market. Further transactions in Smith Street at just over $1.3 million, a centrally located Otway Street residence and a Harrington Street, Separation Creek home rounded out what was a solid week in real estate.

We are currently offering two action properties that are to go under the hammer on the 27th of January and both are beginning to generate solid amount of interest.

16 Lorne Avenue, Lorne

47 George Street, Lorne

The 2018 Pier to Pub swim has been run and won and it was the next generation of swimmers that took out the Superfish honours. Interesting to note that out of the 5,300 swimmers, 42 of these were Lorne locals.
