LORNE – HERE AND THERE

Without doubt the buzz around Lorne at the moment is focused on two very exciting events, both of which are so diversely different to each other. The Lorne Festival of Performing Arts weekend is fast approaching and with the Friday gala event now sold out its promising to be a huge weekend for the town and a milestone weekend as Lorne “comes out of hibernation” following a long cold windy winter. There are limited tickets available for the balance of the performances so go to www.fopa.com.au to find out more.

This weekend the Lorne Football and Netball Club have all four of their football teams heading into the C.D.F.N.L. finals series. With the senior, reserve grade and under 17’s sides all finishing in second and under 14’s fourth, the club is well positioned to cap off a fantastic year!

LORNE – MARKET ROUND UP

Every now and then in real estate you list a property that you know is going to attract immediate buyer interest and that has occurred through the past week, as a ground floor three bedroom Kalimna apartment in the front building has been listed for sale. Priced at $1,145,000, this prime apartment in arguably Lorne’s most sought after residential development and is a must see for those seeking a “look and leave” lifestyle investment property. In a time when stock is tight, opportunities like these are few and far between, if you want to know more give me a call on 0418 522 571 to find out.

After last weeks rush of contracts, a little quieter on the home front with two contracts in place, albeit one conditional and the second subject to the cooling off period – so fingers crossed and more details next week.

LORNE – A LITTLE SECRET

Surely there is a bit of an omen behind the Lorne footy club’s improvement over the past four years having finished fourth in 2015, third in 2016, second in 2017 so 2018 may well be just the year!

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK
